Include environmental education from childhood

Environmental education is essential to achieve a sustainable world development and the respect that our planet deserves from an environmental perspective. It is a training process that starts in the family environment, from each individual, to the community, to the society and finally the State.

Through various pedagogical practices, the political, economic, social and cultural processes of the countries can be renewed and stimulated to help minimize poverty and other contemporary global problems, including environmental problems at a global level. It is fundamental to promote the protection of the environment, sustainable development and environmental education as part of the economic, social and cultural life of each nation, and thus raise the quality of life and the well-being of human development.

The purpose of incorporating environmental education from the first school years, will enhance scientific knowledge and its transformation into moral convictions, habits and in general, an awareness towards the preservation of the planet we inhabit as being the only and true home of humanity. Although the rich and famous are investing billions of dollars of their personal fortunes to find habitable planets, this will take years or decades to achieve. Is it not easier to try to invest these fortunes for a common good and try at all costs to live on a planet that is habitable for all humanity instead of investing in projects that are intended to exclude rather than include?
