Is there enough food for everyone?
Food supply is one of the most important concerns that humans must address. It is necessary to know that the planet has lost almost a third of its arable land due to pollution and erosion, hence part of the soil is unable to receive crops.
The effects of climate change also affect production and consequently the supply of food, and these events are undoubtedly the most important problems of the 21st century.
The industry must look towards the sustainable development of food production and, at the same time, guaranteeing the food security of the population would promote a series of vital challenges: the alleviation of poverty and the effects of climate change.
It is necessary to innovate in organic agriculture and food production systems, which constitutes an impulse towards economic development with environmental harmony and social equity.
“Think globally, act locally.”
