How to sensitize children to the environment?

During the most severe months of confinement due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we have been able to see images of Venice’s canals with crystal clear waters, animals walking through the center of large cities and the reduction of pollution due to lack of car smog, says Gustavo Copelmayer.

“In the middle of this terrible situation, we could take this opportunity to promote environmental education to our children and encourage understanding and participation in programs to improve our environment,” says Gustavo Copelmayer.

Likewise, sensitizing the little ones about love for nature and the need to find solutions could avoid future difficulties, especially those derived from climate change.

In order to teach environmental education to children at school and at home, it is essential that parents get involved and learn more about environmental issues and their solutions.  Creating awareness and promoting love and respect for all living beings is something good for our children and our world, concludes Gustavo Copelmayer.
